It gives me immense pleasure to know that a Web-Site is being launched in the office of the Director of Higher Education, Assam which is expected to be of great help to all in getting information about the Directorate and its functioning. With the advent of information technology into our personal and social life, it seems imperative for any welfare department to create a platform for electronic interface with its stakeholders, and also to ensure transparency regarding its mandate.

I thank the Director of Higher Education, Assam and also the Officers and staff of his office for sincere endeavor for building up the Web-Site.
